Completed hysterectomy

I had a hysterectomy but they had to leave part of one ovary because it's attached to my intestines, now I have a cyst and I m in pain all the time. They said probably have to get another surgery in which they have to cut part of intestines in order to remove the remaining part of my ovary. What should I expect?

It's not cancer, the cyst is about an inch long and doctor said I had to get ultrasound and more blood work done.

Did you have ovarian cancer? If not and the cyst is not large, you may be able to monitor it to see if it goes away on its own. Do you know its size and characteristics / type of cyst?

Adhesion of an ovary can be very painful. I had to have part of my rectum remover a resected due to a tumor. Everything is normal now.
