Concerned

I know that the internet never helps when health is concerned. I always find myself worrying over nothing.

Here's the story...

I've had several weeks (maybe even as much as 2 months) of backpain. I then starting having a light flow (a couple of weeks before my period was due). It was almost black like as if it were old blood. I had this for 6 days. After that time it turned bright red and heavier like a normal flow period... which is lighter than normal for me. I have had this bright blood for 9 days making it a total of 15 days that I've been bleeding. I've also had fatigue during this time. I also seem to be gaining weight in my abdomen. I've done many searches of my symptoms and it seems to come back to ovarian cancer over and over again. I cannot get into the doctor until Wednesday at the earliest. Should I just tell him my symptoms and let him call it or what? Does this sound like I have anything to worry about? Has anyone else here had these symptoms?

Now, I've been a little confused about who I should be seeing. Because I don't know what is causing this, I don't know who I would be better off seeing.

Should I see my GP? Since it's a range of symptoms?

Or... should I see my Gynecologist since I have the vaginal bleeding?
