Could removing cyst affect hormones etc? left breast sensitive/sore...

This just goes to show that I cannot stop worrying about things hehe I actually tried to post a question in the breast cancer section but they had reached the max no of questions allowed for the day!!! thats crazy ! hehe

--> anyway left breast is abit sensitive- no lump - but when i touch it to check its abit sore..well feels different to the other one....

---wondering if any of u guys get like this pre period? cos i sometimes do- also read that it is normal for breasts to not be the same size (by that i don't mean significantly different!! hehe)...anyway i am pre period....but just wondering if by removing the cyst around ovary/reproductive area- can it affect my hormones....

I dont know about removing the cyst but as you have already said my boobs are so painfull pre-period I cant lie on my belly and I have to hold them when I run down the stairs.

Sore boobs are a normal bodily change which up till now you probably wouldn't have thought twice about. Stop trying to get onto the breast cancer forum babe and recognise that you are just more aware of your body and interpretations of bodily changes than you would have been previously. I am the same. I have been getting alot of headaches lately and normally I would have thought oh I have a headache but now of course it has to be a brain tumor. I think we are all a little bit like that at the moment. A symtom of breast cancer is rarely a sore breast infact painfull lumps are less serious than non painfull ones. YOU ARE FINE HONESTLY  stop worrying and try to stop turning anxious thoughts inwardly.

Hi,
I've never posted here but have been reading for a while. I have been having small(1.6cm), complex cysts for the last year, that resolve, and then re-appear on each ovary. It seems like each side takes turns.

At my last TVUS, I had a new one on the left side, and during that same time period, I had soreness on my left breast and armpit area. This lasted about 2-3 months. I feel fine now, and I am thinking that my cyst is probably gone. I will find out when I go again in August. I had my yearly mamo a few weeks ago, and everything is fine, so I'm thinking it was cyst/hormonal related.

By the way -  I never knew I had these cysts - they don't cause me any real sypmtons. I had the first TVUS, last August for a bit of abnormal bleeding, and I been having the cysts monitored every since. My gyno thinks they are hemmoragic or endo.
