Hey there Mid! Welcome back to the party. I think it's just us Aussie chicks at the moment, but that's ok. We can keep it going for a little while yet. The crew on the other side of the world are either sleeping, breakfasting or brunching I think, so we're the only ones splashing around in the tub at the moment I think! In just a couple of hours when we should be snoozing, the US gals will be up and getting ready for their Sunday, and I think the UK maybe opening a crisp bottle of white to sip on as they enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon. Hope you are well Mid! Glad to know about Bach ..... I might need that at some point for one of mine.

I love cooking to. I love apple shortcake and apple crumble, apple sauce to go with your pork chops.

I have had bad hay fever. My Thai friend gave me these small yellow tablets that she brought back from Thailand, they have put me in the relaxed mode now.

I hope that everything goes well for your week back at work Vixen and that you are feeling better. I'm going for my C.T scan on Tuesday afternoon. Hi Kate! Yes there are a few new Aussie girls - that's so great! Back to work tomorrow .... first big test - have to put in a full week!!!! I'm sure I'll be fine though. Much nicer now that DLS has finished. Lots of apples - don't know what I'll do. Probably just stew them and freeze. I love apple pie, but you know, better off without it!! How are you feeling?

Hello Ladies.....it is now 12:58 or is it now 1:58 am.....I am not certain.....all I know is it is late....everyone seems to be off to bed.....our T-storms just stopped minutes ago so I am here now.....even my husband is off to bed!  I am glad as he will have to rise in a few hours to pick up milk.....what a crazy world!  God...I love it!
Most of our birds are back but I have yet to see a Red-wing Black-bird.....that is bothering me.
Birdie...you have asked about my daughter's situation....well, the idiot she has been involved with just got picked up and got 12 more charges leveled agains him....she continues to defend him....thank goodness he is in jail for now!
I feel badly for him as a person....but, still I don't want him in the world of my daughter and grand-daughters.  Wow...life is such a trip!  Laugh....yea....
I was told by an older lady (yes they do exist) that I am not in remission......I am cured....I no longer have cancer....sounds good to me.....this is a woman who had breast cancer years ago....had a mastectomy....now says "most days I don't wear my boob 'cause nobody's lookin'... and who cares?"...
How much better can this get!
You guys are awsome....have a great night but get some sleep...you ladies in OZ better begin planning on a visitor...my brother has been there and I'll not let him out do me.

I'm disapointed that I missed out on the party again.....grrr grrr!!! I had to go with Honey Bun (my boyfreind) to a business meeting on Sunday of all days, but it was worth it, apart from I missed the Party.

I can't drink at the moment because it makes me blow up, but I love Moet champagne!!!

I wish that I had a spa bath or jacuzzi. You should come for a bath in the bush next time. When I was younger and living in the bush (in the secound house) we had our bath out in the forest, the bath is built on top of a fireplace and has a chimney thing to the side. We used to fill it up with water from the tank and I would light the fire with some kerosene. Its really nice apart from when it would get to hot and I would get a burnt bottom, so we would sit on some limestone rocks. Our next door neighbour Wolfie (hes German) was caught in the bushes with his binoculars perving on my Mum.

I spoke to my Dad last night and told him about joining the Battalion and I also mentioned that we had all emailed the Oprah Show to do a story about Ovarian Cancer, he sounded really pleased as his Mum died suddenly of Ovarian Cancer at the age of 49.

Its great that we now have new Cysters from England and Scotland, the time difference gets confusing.

Vixen you sound like a fantastic cook!!! We have another Aussie Girl joining the Battalion...Welcome!!!

I think Kiwi Kate has gone out with her boyfriend .... truckin' in the Blue Mountains. I'm sure she'll tell us more about her pot parrots when she returns! Meanwhile let me tell you about my puppy! We have a rooster (a verrrrry large rooster) and 5 hens. My two dogs are bird dogs (English Springer Spaniels) but as they have been brought up with the poultry, they get on very well. Puppy however (he is 10 months old)wants to play. He prances around in front of the rooster trying to get him to join in. Rooster looks him up and down before puffing out his chest and strutting toward the pup! Monty (naughty, naught puppy), jumps around most excitedly and away they go again, and again ..... the girls look down their beaks at the whole show!!!
