Cyst and Pregnancy

I am 13 weeks pregnant and during my first ultrasound to date the pregnancy (8weeks)the technician found a cyst 6cm by 8cm. I was going away on vacation and the tech told me to be aware of any pain and go to a hospital if there was any because the cyst could rupture or twist upon itself and cause me pain, and possibly put the baby at risk. She assured me that there hadn't been any complication with the pregnancy yet and when I got back from the trip if it hadn't reduced in size the doctor would probably want to remove it. When I went for my second ultasound at 12 weeks they found no change. My family doctor recomended me to a gyno. My family doctor told me it might be a dermoid tumor. I am very fusterated because I feel like no one is telling me anything. I am very worried that the cyst might cause a miscarrige as the baby grows, or if they opt to remove it that I will lose the baby also. I don't see the new doctor untill June 22nd and I am going crazy with worry. Is there anyone who has experienced this type and size of cyst during pregnancy? What happened, did it get removed, did they leave it in for the pregnancy term?
