Cyst with fluid behind?

When I had my last ultrasound the doctor seen fluid (what he thought was behind the ovary) but I'm a little worried because the doctor (senile old fool) did the ultrasound and he is not a trained tech and the equipment looks older than me (I'm 41) and my last ultrasound didn't show fluid. I have read several posts here & on hystersisters where women have also had MRI's done and my question is would an MRI be the next logical step for proper identification? I am looking for another doctor (my 3rd try)but it is so hard to pick one out of a hat because you don't know what you are going to get.
