It is Cyber Party!  Drop in, introduce yourself and relax.;  For one night we have some fun! 1 & 99 percenters alike!  We forget about the beast that berought us all here and PARTY!!!!
      The first Cyber Part was just about two years ago and we became a Neighborhood then and there!  Tell us about your Neighborhood back home, I call mine The Canopy because of all the great oaks.  My best friend Sharon lives right across the street.  But I have to say, she no more dearer to me than the friends I made here, in my cyber neighborhood!
     So tell us what cyber goodies you brought and drop them off at the table by the hot tub.  There is king crab and cheesecake, help yourself!  Anyone want to be bartender?  We will have a virtual soak later!  I am expecting old friends and, hopefully new ones too!  Everyone is welcome!  MV

You have no idea how your first post on here scared me, I guess I should have known that you were in fact being your "onery" self.  I was ready to club Cory for letting you out. As far as "colorful" I have always thought our uniforms were pretty drab looking,  guess it is all in the eye of the beholder. Hope today is much better for you and that you really are getting ready to party with us soon.  Marty

So sorry I had to leave in a rush, but I had unexpected company stop by. Someone I hadn't seen in over a year, just had got into town. I missed the biggest part of the party but while I was here I had a great time and can not wait to do it again.
  I was just reading back and catching up (and getting to know everybody) and Raven Lady I am so sorry I completely missed your post to me. I so wanted to meet all of you that I haven't met before. Next time I will be here for the duration.
  Jan it was so good to see you. Are you feeling better?

     Thanks for popping in!  Was hoping the Oz Cysters would take the hand-off of the Cyber Party!  I have two who went through the getting the license thing too and, althought I was two years older with my youngest, that was rougher!  Especially when she opened a gash in the side of the pick-up from door to tailgait on a fire plug!  Her reactions just s\were not as sharp as they are now.  (Thank God!).  And we wonder where the dang grey hair comes from!  Sheesh!  MV

Hey guys! Had to pop out for a while. My second son has just turned 16 and got his learner's licence. They have to do 120 hours driving before they can get their provisional licence at 17. That means lots of hours for me to sit beside my dearly cherished, biting my fingernails and gripping the door handle as we swing around yet another bend! I've been through this once before and I don't know if it's because I'm another 2 years older or if this one is a little worse than the last one, but I'm SCARED ,,,, ER than last time. My friends tell me it's cos I'm older (bless their hearts.) Anyway, back for a short while then off to a barbie next door. If I get back in early enough I'll check in, otherwise catch you all on the flip side. Back to work for me tomorrow whereas I think you're all heading into a restful Sunday. So good to hear from some of the golden oldies, and nice to see so many newies here! Great party MV!

Unfortunately, the colorfully costumed ladies got the better of me and I am afraid I gave in and let them shoot me full of stuff.  I'm such a junkie.  It is sleepy time for me.  I am looking forward to really getting to know you.  I am glad the cyber parties got revived.  I heard you were a wonderful hostess and it sure looks like your reputation proceeded you accurately.  Have a great night and maybe I can stop by in the morning and bring some mimosa's and fresh Krispy Kremes.  I'll wait until the "HOT" sign is on.

Hey Everyone - Gia from Jersey here...originally from NY - Brooklyn/Staten Island! Sorry I missed so much of the party....I am throwing my mother in law a surprise party tomorrow and had some last minute things to do....like my 2 daughters hair...one wants curly the other wants straight crazy!!! Move over I am taking my Malibu Baybreeze and sitting in the hot tub!!! I need it!!!

Wow, sorry I missed the party.  I promised a friend I would drop by her party and it just got to wild for me.  I didn't know it was going to be a costume party.  It was so colorful you'd think it was Mardi Gras, but the costumes weren't near as risque.  I haven't seen that many drugs in one place since the 70's. This one whacked out woman was coming at me with 3 needles full of something and she acted like it was no big deal and i thought it was a good time to head out. YIKES.  That party was way to wild for me.  So what have I missed?  I hope you all had fun.  Well, next time I won't make any stops on the way.

OMG - I also cried so at that movie; it's been too long -  i have to see it again - good one to put on my list for my Mom's!  Was never an Eastwood fan until that movie! Whew ....... hot flashes or..............

But, I must also settle in for the night.  Been up way too long today but I'm just not tired and I don't know why - too much sleep in the hospital I guess.  Thanks so much for a fun time.  I'll have my computer with me at my Mom's (dial up though - yuk!) so I  hope I can get it attached and going with some sort of dial up connection; I don't even remember how to do that.

Mary, you are in your element. You need to consider Throwing Cyber Parties as a side job (you know, in all of your extra time :) But, seriously, you ROCK.

I did not mean to desert you. My plans for the night changed slightly, but, I'm here.  I look on proudly at all of these connections and the great use of this site to be able to throw a party and forget our troubles for a night...or at least have a litte fun. What a great group.

Thanks again for your graciousness, Mary, and for how quickly you said, "YES!!!" when I called today to see if you could host this event.

Again? SOOOON?  Hopefully Becky, Jan, and Deandra...can join us, but again, knowing how these Cyber Parties are, well, we know that there will be more posts through the night into tomorrow. Remember, Tascha's got brunch!

Ah, yes, FLW; I grew up in actual Chicago, on the southwest side in an are known as Beverly Hills/Morgan Park.  Besides Oak Park that is where many FLW homes are as well.  Heading back there tomorrow where my 79 year old parents still live (in the house I grew up in) to get some R&R and Mom's cookin' and Dad's Sidecars (well, maybe just a sip).  Two of my sisters live in Oak Park which is very similar to the Beverly area.  Nonetheless, -40 all around here tonight and tomorrow .............. ooooooohhhhhhh, I'd love to hop into that hot tub. Let me dip my feet, please - oops........ SPLASH!  Sorry, whomever I kicked!
