Cysts after miscarriage

by branston, Jan 19, 2005 12:00AM
I had a miscarriage two weeks ago, at the time of the miscarriage the nurse checked my overies and everything was ok, but when i went back today for another scan to check is the pregnancy had gone completely they found small cysts that were not there two weeks ago.

Is this normal for a miscarriage?? and will it right itself in time??

Was the cyst classified as functional or complex?  Functional being fluid filled will almost always right itself.  Complex is just that exactly.

Just so you know, every month most of us get cysts.... most of them are completely harmless... in my case, I have had a cyst that burst and then blood has gone into it and now it's still there.  There are no septations in the cyst or solid components of it.... but I'm still concerned.  If you want to find out more, I suggest you call them back and ask the question "what type of cysts do I have".. then you can do your research on this and other boards which may or may not make you feel better.  Just a thought.  Good luck!
