Cysts connected with blood clotting disorders?

I read some websitre out there that mentioned that ovarian cysts could be the first sign of a blood clotting disorder. Is this true? I feel nervous.

I agree, it must be a very rare thing.  I have done tons of research too and haven't seen it.  Doesn't mean it doesn't happen though.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  Godspeed

It says that hemmoragic cysts MAY be a sign that you have a clotting disorder.  You could ask your doctor about that PTT test they mention if you have a hemmoragic cyst.  But if it's not mentioned on any of the other women's health websites it might be a pretty rare thing.  When I first discovered I had a cyst I read every website I could find: Mayo Clinic, Intellihealth (Harvard), National Institutes of Health, etc, and I didn't this info.  Doesn't mean it's not true, but maybe it's not a common thing.

I bet the info about HCG (pregnancy hormone) causing functional cysts to get really big would be helpful to the cysters on this website who are pregnant, I believe there are a few of them.
