Dermoid and Pregnant - Please Help - Can't sleep, eat, etc...

Thank you for the opportunity to ask my question.  Last Nov. after an abdominal CT scan, they found a tiny dermoid 1.5 cm.  My Dr. followed up and in April it was still I belive 1.5 cm.  Well I had an ultrasound three days ago and the findings were, Unilocular cyst apprx. 5.5 cm.  My Dr. said the growth is normal , that they only worry when it grows faster and larger.  I am so worried I still have 2 1/2 months to go before C-section and removal..  I am 29 years old, no family history except grandmother's aunt on fathers side had OC.
1.  Can benign dermoids grow also, or just when they have malignant degeneration?

2.  Is this too fast of a growth over 1 year or does it have a typical growth pattern?

3. The tech said it just looked fatty and benign.

4.  My Dr. also said that it had only grown 1 1/2 in 4 /12 months?

DOes this sound like it had malignant degeneration?

Oh God please help, I don't want this to put my babies life at risk

Thank you

The Dr. called me and she says what they are describing in the report looks like a simple cyst not a dermoid.  I asked her if indeed it was the dermoid, would it had turned malignant and, she said (no it did not)  it is not.  SO I feel a little better.  SOmeone else have any input???  She said not to worry that we would have the dermoid out in the C-section.  and that yes they can grow and be benign.
Just for reassurnace she said (It did not, and it's not)

DO you agree

Hi There,
How scary for you to be pregnant and worrying about things like this. It sure sounds benign based on your reports and it sounds like your are having careful follow up.
The most important thing for your baby is to grow nice and big and mature before delivery. The reason to consider early intervention for an ovarian cyst is if it is twisting and causing pain or if it looks malignant.
Your doctor sounds like she/he knows what they are doing
take care
