Dermoid ovarian cyst

I was told I have a dermoid cyst on my ovary. I am 23 weeks pregnant. They want me to leave it in and have a c section and just remove it then. Has anyone done this. Did you have complications during your pregnancy? I am worried that its going to burst or harm my baby. Did you have one and delivery naturally?

HI,
You have not mentioned the size of the dermoid cyst. Small ovarian cysts are lifted up into the abdomen along with the advancing pregnancy. Most of the times, women will have uncomplicated deliveries at term. The cyst should not harm the baby.
