Doctor said I had an enlarged Ovary? and...

I am almost 24 yrs old, and have one child 2 and 1/2.
    I had my yearly exam and well, the doctor said after examing me that I have an enlarged ovary.  She asked if I had a family history, at the time I didn't know, but I found out I do and a lot of cancer and endo metries sp? in the family.  And for a few months prior lately I have been feeling slight pain in that area, and durring intercourse never thought about it in that way.  Also I have pain in my lower back on the same side.  Should I have told her this?  Should I call and or be worried?  I have also had serrious headaches that last about a week or longer.  Thank you for your help and your time.

My wife was told she has an enlarged ovary..she is 33.What should she do next? Should she check it for cancer? Can it affect her sexual desire also?
