Does it sound like an ovarian cyst

Hello,I am new here and I have been touched by everyones support for each other.I have been feeling kind of alone in this but now I know that I can come here for support.I am going to havesurgery tomorrow to have a possible cyst removed from my right ovary. I am a little concerned because my ob/gyn said she does not know what is on my ovary.she just called it a BI-Lobe,she said we will not know for sure on the size or what it is until it is sent off and examined. My gyn could feel the mass during a pelvic exam and see it on an ultrasound. I have been having a lot of pain and have gained a lot of weight(I Look pregnant). My gyn had suggested that I may have endometriosis and that one way to stop it is to get pregnant.well that is not going to happen, she also said we could wait and see if the mass grew but I am tired of the pain so I elected to have the surgery. I have also been having pain in the upper right quadrant of my abdomen where my galblader is.The pain shoots around to my kidney. I just did an ultrasound yesterday on my gallblader and it came back normal. Has anyone experienced pain that high up due to an ovarian cyst?Oh and one more thing, when I was pregnant with my first child in 99 I went the hospital due to pain in my right ovarie, after an ultrasound I was told that I would have to have surgery to remove the baby because the pregnancy was in my right ovarie.I demanded another ultrasound by a doctor that could speak better english(I was in Germany)the second doctor said that my baby was in the uterus but that there was a lot of fluid in my ovarie.is this common?

okay, surgery was a success...there was not a cyst on my ovarie, but a lot of endometreosis behind my uterus...doc said she did not know what she felt and saw on the ultrasound on my right ovarie...I had an abilation done, toobs clamped, and a DNC, all of the endometreosis was removed and sent to be checked out. thanks for your prayers.

I recently had my gallbladder out on 6/26.  I initially went to my gyn in Jan. 2006 because I was experiencing an increased abdominal girth, couldn't lose weight, left arm and leg numbness, mild fever, frequent urination, left & right under the rib pain.  My gallbladder US in Feb. didn't show stones.  After several invasive tests (colonscopy/endoscopy), it was a hida scan test in June that indicated my gallbladder was functioning at a rate of 22.  The gastro recommended removal.  I'm still feeling lousy after surgery however.  They did remove many adhesions from my liver.  I had a ruptured dermoid with peritonitis in 1998 and am scared something else is going on inside me.  A trans vag. US in Feb. only showed some uterine fibroids and some minimal fluid in the cul-de-sac.  Doctor said I probably had a cyst recently rupture. My prayers to you for all to go well tomorrow.  I would like to know what they find with your cyst.  I have been told by my gyn & gastro that I probably have adhesions and just have to wait for a bowel obstruction before any surgeon will touch me.  I definitely believe in a gut/hormone connection because all my digestive symptoms are worsened mid-cycle and during my period. I hope you get all of your answers quickly.  Peace, especially tomorrow.
