Doxorubicin and combination drug

My Mom has recently been diagnosed metastasis ovarian carcinoma (stage-IV). One month after her surgery MRI showed that tiny cyst in liver and extention to lymph node. Surprisingly her CA125 is only 12. Her physical condition is good. She is now undergoing first course of Doxorubicin. I have several questions:

1. Is Doxorubicin alone good enough or needs to be combined with other drugs?

2. There are research reports that suggest green tea enhances the antitumor activity of doxorubicin. Surely, we would
like to increase the effectiveness of chemotherapy. If taking green tea (as drink or capsule) has positive effect then could you give your opinion about green tea intake or dosage during or after administration of chemotherapy?

after much contemplation decided to go with Doxorubicin. Initially, Paclitaxel and carbolplatin combination was considered. However, given the patient's condition and advanced stage of metastasis the doctor preferred Doxorubicin. Anyway, I will communicate your dcision with the doctor.

With regards to green tea and doxorubicin there are two journal publications that climas the green tea increases anti-tumor
activity of Doxorubicin.

However, the experimental result is based on  laboratory mice not human being.
