Effect after 3 cycles of doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide

My mother has had total omentectomy just 3 moths back. She had clear cell ovca in the month March 2006 and underwent total hysterectomy. after 18 months disease came back in her omentum and sucessfully operated with removal of total omentum. That time CA125 was 62 and after 3 cycles of chemotherapy Doxil 60Mg +Cyclophosphamide 1 Gm. Now the following obervations were found

1) CA 125 has come down to  22.5
2) USG revealed fatty infiltration on liver and sliht scar tissues on Lungs.Rest is normal

My questions are

1) Does CA 125 report suggest a good prognosis?
2) Is there anything to worry about the scarry tissues on,lungs. though doctor is saying 'nothing to worry' this is the effect of chemotherapy"

it is great that your mother's CA 125 is dropping. That is a sign that the chemo she is on is effective. It is not possible , however to predict how long it will be effective.

It is common to see scar in the lungs. I usually do not worry about that.
