Enlarged ovary post menopausal

by bonnell, Apr 05, 2007 12:00AM
Just had vaginal ultra , results showing enlarged left ovary 6.09 x 2.62 x 4.70
Lt. Ov. cyst w/multiple septations vs. enlarged ovary w/clusters of cystic follicles. Waiting for the Ca 125 to come back..am very scared. What would be the next steps feasible in this presentation?

hi There,
It sounds like you should see a gyn oncologist. Most cysts are benign but i usually recommend taking a look with a laparoscopy if cysts are persistent and greater than 4 to 5 cm.
best wishes
