I'm not very familiar with the treatment, but you can check out the following website for some good info: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/uspdi/202234.html
Hope this helps and good luck to you and your wife!
I am also sorry for what you are going threw- but I have to ask where are her tumors??? If they are on her overies why dont they remove them??? Just curious, dont know much about all this- Brenda
Her ovaries have been removed and the tumors have grown on her lower pelvic floor, the other two are mid abd. between the lining of the colon and stomach cavity. The Dr's have explained to us that the type of cancer cell she has is like a dandeline with fuzzies and if you touch it the fuzzies blow all over and that's why they won't do surgery. They keep her on pain meds because the pain gets pretty bad sometimes. I hope I explained this right I'm not into scaring people, I just think we all need to be very proactive in our care and caregiving.
Hope this helps and good luck to you and your wife!
