Femara and Zoloft

by marti27, Jun 02, 2009 07:54PM
I recently read that some anti-depressants can interfere with Tamoxifen. Would this apply to Femara as well?
Interfere meaning it negates the effectivess of femara.
Thank you.

Dear Marti
I am not aware of that. The action of tamoxifen and femara is to block estrogen receptors. Antidepressants have  a different target.  However, you should double check with your oncologist.
best wishes
