Fluid after surgery

by 4mom, May 16, 2007 12:00AM
My mom was diagnosed in October 2006 with stage 2c ovarian cancer- she completed Chemo and had her first CT scan- everything clear and her CA-125 was 5! But on the scan, she had some fluid on her right side. The cancer was in the left ovary only...the gynocologist oncologist said it was from the surgery and should go away. Is this something to worry about?

Thanks for any input...

I had a fluid filled cyst area on my first CT following chemo, and it was gone with my second CT.
