Granulosa Cell tumor

My sister was recently diagnoised with Granulosa Cell tumors. and has had one quater sized tumor removed along with her ovary.  Now what? what are the options in this, what are the risk, and how life threating is this? thank you.

Hi there
granulosa cell tumors are slow growing tumors that are usually found when they are confined to the ovary (stage I). hey are cured by surgical removal.

the standard follow up is exams and blood work.
Granulosa cells produce estrogen so usually estrogen levels are checked. Additionally some places will check an Inhibin level.
