I'm concerned about the results of my
transvaginalTransvaginal ultrasound ultrasound of
pelvisCancer - renal pelvis or ureter
Nerve supply to the pelvis
Pelvic laparoscopy
Pelvis x-ray. The report contains comparison from my previous ultrsound done 3 months prior. According to the radiology report:
The uterus measures 8.1 x 4.9 x 5.9 cm. There is a discrete low density area in the uterus which measures 1.9 x 1.5 cm which may represent
fibroidFibroid tumors
Uterine fibroids.
The right ovary measures 3.5 x 1.9 x 1.7 cm and previously measured 3.0 x 1.8 x 3 cm. Multiple follicular cycts noted in right ovary and one complex cyctic lesion not visualized before measuring 2.1 x 1.6 cm with levelsof internal echoes and may represent corpus luteum cyst.
The left ovary measures 3.3 x 1.4 x 1.5 cm and previously measured 3.0 x 1.4 x 1.4 cm. Multiple follicular cysts with largest measuring 9.0 x 9.0 mm.
Cervix contains nabothian cyst measuring 6.8 x 8.5 mm. Adjacent to this is a hypoechoic area which appears to contain internal echoes and does not meet the guidelines for a nabothian cyst. This measures 7.9 x 4.7 cm.
My PCM says not to worry and has done a referral to a GYN who cannot see me for a few months. Should I be concerned and request to be seen earlier? Also, should I request to see a Gyn-Oncologist?
