HAIR REGROWTH DURING CHEMO

1jo
I was diagnosed with stage 111 ovarian cancer in September.  After 3 treatments of carboplatin and taxol, I had a two week delay because my white blood count was low.  My doctor changed my chemo drug to cisplatin and taxol.  After my 4th treatment I started seeing hair growth on my head.  I'm should be receiving treatment #6 this week, but my hair has continued to grow and my eyelashes are stating to grow.  Has anybody else had this experience?  Does this mean the chemo is not working?

Hi There,
I have taken care of some people who have had your experience. I have not found that there is any correlation with hair regrowth and chemo effect on the cancer. The regrowth could be related to the delay and change of agents
best wishes

so gald you asked cause the same thing is happening to me...Eventhough my blood & CA125 tests are good, after 5 cycles of Taxol/Carbo my hair is starting to grow back all over my body.  Looking forward to hearing what the doctor says cause I wonder the same if the chemo is working.
