Thank you!  I just now saw this!  

It was a great day.  I got a Wii from my husband (you know...he wanted one so used my birthday as an excuse....lol!), and tickets for a Broadway show from my friends, so New York, here I come!  I don't mind being 40.  It is strange to say it, but 30 hurt way worse than 40.  Maybe I'm just happier to be celebrating birthdays these days.  

Colleen, yes, we did watch most of the race in between eating....A LOT.  I need to starve myself until Thursday to make up for the extra calories!  

So thank you ladies again.  I appreciate your kind thoughts!

Ah, 40. Such a sweet age. I loved turning 40. I felt like a full adult then. In my 20's I was a "young adult" and not fully respected because I didn't have life experience. In my 30's I was too old to hang out with the 20 somethings and not "mature" enough for the 40's. So I loved it when I arrived at 40. I was wise and wonderful. LOL
