Hi everyone,
My doc just called me and she talked to they GYNO-ONO and suggested that I have these blood test done to determine the solid component on my solid ovary. Has anyone ever heard of these before? I did take the CA-125 blood test but that was really low I think it was a 13 or 17.
Let me know if any of you has taken the above blood test and what was the outcome!
I was advised to have my inhibin levels checked when granulosa cell tumor was suspected, as a CA-125 may show normalNormal saline flush levels for this type of cancer.
In regards to the AFP, womenWomen's way who are pregnant may have this test done but also men and womenWomen's way w/ certain types of cancers will have this done as well. Serotoli Leydig Cancer is one of them.
