HELLO EVERYBODY!!!!!!!

  Hello!!!!!
I have not yet begun to try and catch up, I have not even started reading the board yet. But I just wanted to let you all know that I am back home. I got in a few hours ago.
TC is doing better, a little. I have a feeling that this is going to be a long recovery for her. I really wished that I could have stayed longer, I would have preferred knowing that she was doing a little better before I left. But due to my own treatments and Dr's appointments etc, I just could not swing staying much longer. Plus, I had to get home today so I could vote!!!
  I made very good time coming home. It took me 5 hours to get up there, but I made it home in 4 hours and 15 minutes. I had very little traffic coming out of Chicago. Due to the big Obama rally being held in Grant Park, in downtown Chicago tonight, everyone was going to Chicago, not leaving. And I had very little traffic the rest of the way home. It was a beautiful day, so I cranked the stereo, rolled down the windows, put the pedal to the metal, and just sang my way all the way home! Gas has been dropping in downstate IL at a steady rate. When I left last week, in Olney, it was 2.59 per gallon, but when I got to Effingham, it was only 2.44 per gallon. Naturally it got a little higher the further north I got, and I paid 2.71 for it.
  On the way back, I stopped about halfway home and paid 2.44, so imagine my surprise when coming off the interstate on the last leg of my trip, to find it at 2.08! It was still 2.28 in Olney when I got here.

  Tc is still not really up to sitting at the computer for any length of time, but she did tell me to let you all know that she would try to stay caught up on what was going on. (she just got her computer fixed this morning, her modem had gone bad and we had not internet for the last 4 days, that is why no one heard from us). She says she will try to gradually get back, and to tell you all that she is thinking of you daily.

  Now, I am going to go finish unloading my car, and come in and kick back for awhile. Co-Co has really missed me! I will be back a little later and start catching up with all that has been going on.

Hey Chris!  Welcome home.  LOL...I'm laughing b/c it sounds as if you were gone a really, really long time.  Like you were in a deep sleep and time changed while you were out.  LOL  I'm so glad you made it to and from safely.  Glad, too, that Tc is doing a little better.

oh, Chris you are too funny but right! Glad you had a nice visit and that Tc is coming along. It will just take her some time. It takes awhile to get back into eating real food. I imagine her body will really have to adjust.  Good that you voted - no matter who you wanted.  Get settled back in and great to have you back :)

Chris, thanks so much for the update..No matter how you drive, that's still a long trip..Glad to hear TC is getting a little better. Get some rest.. The worst part is unpacking -- really hate that !
