Hair Loss and Topotecan

I am asking this question for my mother who actually has cervical cancer not ovarian, but my question is about a chemo drug commonly used for ovarian cancer. My mom has recently started treatment with topotecan and cisplatin, and has started losing her hair, yet she had been on cisplatin alone prior to this and never lost any hair.  Now her doctor decided to take her off the topotecan.  Her first and last treatment with topotecan was three weeks ago, and her hair just started falling out this week.  Will her hair stop falling out since she stopping the topotecan, or will the cisplatin add to it and make it continue?  How long does it usually take when you stop treatment for your hair to stop falling out and start growing back?
