Help! I'm lost on all this.

My mom just had a hysterectomy and is starting chemo.  She was diagnosed with Type 3 papillary cancer, stage 1.  The doctor said it is usually found in the ovaries first, but hers was  only in the uterus.  I can't find anything about this.  I may be just web illiterate at this point, but she's been having a hard time as well.  Anything anyone can tell us about this would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Why don't you call Mom's oncologist and ask for an appointment for you, and Mom to clear up the confusion. It will probably make both of you feel better, write down any questions you have and ask the doctor everything on your minds.

Your not web illiterate, it's just that you've been dealt a huge shock and are trying to gather information you never (thank goodness) had to search for.
