Things are scary, the unknown. Sounds like you have good doctors it may be nothing they are covering all the base's.
I've had so many test I can't name them all. When you get a certain age or someone in the family had cancer they will test you for that.Better to be safe then sorry. I hope all goes well with you.

I am 35 and just had to have a colonoscopy due to a positive hemoccult card. The prep is the hardest part (oh and not being able to eat) but the procedure is easy because you are heavily sedated. If you have any questions please let me know. Try not to worry until you have to. These doctors have a way of scaring us. Good luck!
I just had a colonoscopy last week, and if you are required to give yourself a fleet enema, I suggest doing it in the middle of your "cleansing". I followed the direction which said to use the enema at least one hour prior to bedtime, and I was sure sorry. It's a saline solution of some sort, so you can imagine the burning. Next time, I'm not going to wait until the "bitter end"! Good luck!
