Culdesac: medium sized hypoechoic solid mass of about 6*6.1cm, no abnormal free fluid seen.
Ovaries: Left-> seen above & ant to right, psoas muscle & size is normal, no abnormal soild cystic mass. Right-> seen in culdesac, no abnormal solid cystic mass.
Impression: solid hypoechoic mass in culdesac or pedunculted fibroid or the uterus.
Prescription:Cefspan(sefixime) capsule, chymoral forte(trypsin/chymotrypsin),feldene flash(piroxicam) 10 days each.
Doctor verbally says that it is kind of tumor and there is no other way out except operate. Please help and guide me my parents are very much worried so as me, i feel that my color suddenly changed to pale yellow after the doctor's comments. I am worried, nor I can go for marriage, will i never be able to become a mother if i get this operated before marriage?

first thing get your prioritys  in line,  the cyst is of a size that needs to be removed or watched carefully for growth.  I do not have a clue as to what you mean by "mishap"  did you mean an unwanted pregnancy?  A miscarriage followed by a D&C?  If so that has nothing to do, probably, with your present condition.  From what I understand from your report is that you do not have Ovarian cysts but a  pelvic/uterine mass.  At the age of 24, you should be able to make some of these decisions yourself.

Hello, honey,
So sorry to hear of your problems....just wanted you to know  WE ARE OUT HERE!!!!
I really don't know what your reports mean....some of the ladies on this forum, may, however. Be patient and perhaps someone with more knowledge than me may log on.
One thing I do know, is that if at all possible, the surgeon will make sure you can still have kids. You are very young, and although not unheard of, you probably don't have cancer.
Did you ask your doctor why they had to operate???? Next time, go "armed" with any questions you have. Even if you think they sound silly.
Best of luck to you! Hang in there....We've all been through this....We understand!!!! The big thing is for YOU to take control.
                                        Hugs,
                                          Shari

Hi...Any mass that size needs to be removed. It doesn't necessarily mean cancer. It however not seem like an ovarian since there is no mass on the ovaries.  Since this is an Ovarian Cancer forum I am not sure how many ladies will know how to advise you except that yes indeed it needs to come out. I know it is frightening and hinders anyones judgement on what to do no matter what age. I see where you are from..my husband was there a couple years ago for a short time. Which state are you from? Is there a gynocologist there that is able to assist you with this or are you just seeing a regular doctor?

To Help Me ... I understand how you feel about your parents.  You need them very much.  My daughter is 26 and my husband and I would be right by her side during a time like yours.  I'm 50 and I'm still by my parents side during a family crisis.  I have OVCA and the support from the family is so important.  Shari gave good advise about writing all your questions down.  Give them to the doctor and he should address each one.  You will feel better if he takes the time to explain things better.  Don't panic!  Take control with the support of your parents.  If they are my age they want answers too!  When I was 24 I never had a clue about anything involving what I am going through now. A pap smear is all I was concerned about.  You are very fortunate to have all the knowledge we have today.  Please keep us posted!  ((HUGS))  Cindy
