Hemorrhage Ovarian cysts

by Anna_0898, Feb 18, 2004 12:00AM
As the result of ultrasound showed I have a complex cyst with the size of 4.7 x 4.4 X 3.3 cm on the left ovary, the right ovary is fine but the uterus appear bicorunate. This is complex left ovary cyst contain septation, free fluid and hemorrhagic. For so many months, I have a major unexplained weight loss, nausea, vomiting, constipation, major lower back pain, pain on the right sided back (ovary area), pain on leg, fatigue, some time I have constipation and a lot blood in stool, I also have pain during intercourse. I am a single mother, 40 years old, having 3 small kids. My doctor told me to wait for 5 weeks to do another ultrasound and see how big the cysts will grow before he decides to remove it. Could this be an ovarian cancer? Please help. I am very worry. Thank you so much.

I have a lot of the same symptoms- I just went through several tests with my doctor: MRI, a few ultrasounds, etc. And they ruled out Ovarian Cancer with some blood work, however they insist on constant check-ups. I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Listen to your doctor's advice and go back in 5 weeks, but be sure and keep a list of all your symptoms. It can be serious, so don't take it lightly, but trust your doctor and don't stress about it. Stress can only make things worse. My hemorrhagic cyst seemed to be hurting a lot more when I had the last ultrasound, and my doctor said it was actually doing a lot better. So, keep your chin up and take ibuprofen for pain. You'll be fine.
