Hello Ladies,
    Just letting you all know that I am a million times better than a week ago. Even made my own breakfast, this morning(big girl,huh?). I also plan to take a shower, soon!!!!!!(Yep, that's right!!!). Please, however, don't think that I haven't already done that a few times, however!! Honestly, I feel like I'm on cloud 9 with the NO CANCER and feeling finally that someday I will wear normal clothes, again. Still pretty swollen, but has gone down a lot!
    I just wanted to let you all know that if there is ever any thing I can do for you, please contact me here. You guys kept me sane that last week before surgery. I, too, would be honored, to do the same for anyone of you, old or new to the forum. Thank-you, all!!!!!

Thank-you for all your well-wishes!!!! My pretty amazing life is certainly something to look forward to. I even went for a walk in the brisk Michigan air yesterday....I shall do the same today, but a little farther!!!! Can't wait!!!! Thank-you, as always, for your encouragements!!!!

I think that is the first thing we all wait for, wearing normal cloths again!
But with a dx of no cancer, you have so much more to look forward to now. Please know how happy we all are for you. I wish you a very speedy recovery and return to a normal life.               Love Chris

Yes, I finally put away my old baggy yoga pants and wore jeans today. They don't feel like a tight girdle around my belly. How fun to wear regular clothes again. Watch out for those poky little stitches on your tummy that catch on things. And when you're really feeling good, watch out for over-eating. It's so fun to eat and not blow up like a hot air balloon. But I can't keep eating like this. Enjoy it for a bit though. (We ate out at an Indian restaurant today. No dinner for me.)

Wearing regular clothes again will be a real treat! I spent so long wearing those drawstring jersy knit pants from Walgreens @ 2 for 7.99! I felt pretty cool when I could wear jeans again. It took a while for me. My incision was pretty tender for a long time.  9 months later it is still a little tender. Your shower statement was funny. Something we took for granted becomes a chore and an accomplishment after surgery or during chemo. I'd say, "Robin, I'm all showered and shampooed." She'd say,"Good job, mom!" I am happy you are doing well and so glad you are healthy. Marie

You will be amazed at how much stronger you will get each day!! The body heals unbeleivably. I am so glad you are cancer free!!! Best of luck and feel good!  Gia :)
