Hi Lisa,
Thank you for caring about me, I haven't been up to sitting at the computer since I got home from the hospital. It make me feel good to see that you were concerned about me.

My surgery was both laparoscopy and incision, the surgeon found other areas that had to be repaired as well as the 2 umbilical hernias. The recover will be several weeks and I can't lift, push or pull anything or I can undo the surgery, and I must wear a binder 24/7.
I'm sore, swollen and uncomfortable, so I must take it easy.

When I've recovered from the surgery, my oncologist said we'll repeat the scan, and CA and I'll probably have to start a new chemo.

This devil in us is never satisfied.

I hope you're feeling well,
Jane

Speedy recovery!

Wow, Jane.  Sounds like you've been through a lot.  It's understandable you don't feel like sitting in front of a computer all that much.  It's not in most of us to let someone else wait on us hand and foot, but I hope you are allowing yourself to take advantage of that.  I know the thought of starting chemo again is looming, but take it one step at a time.  I am sending thoughts and prayers your way for a quick recovery, and renewed energy.

Hoping you feel better soon!

Jane,
You take care of yourself, don't do too much (all women do!), let others care for you and rest. Sleep, sleep, sleep. It is so important to healing and the best thing for you. When I had my abdominal surgery last year, I made myself take those naps and rest. It was so good for me. Will be praying on a good CA125 and CT scan. Hugs,
Colleen

Glad to hear from you.  Do take care - rest - relax - and baby yourself.  Maybe a new lipstick?  Whatever will raise your spirits.

Hi ladies,
Thank you so much for your caring replies,  suggestions and advice. I am definitely taking it easy and resting a lot. I was so pleased when I logged on and saw all of your comments.

The surgeon made it clear that I can undo the surgery if I overdo any activity. I'm really pacing myself and I'm still sore and very tired. The binder will be on me 24/7 except for shower time,  until I see him again in a month. It really helps when getting up.

I'm so glad that I did cooking and freezing before I had my surgery. It's a pleasure to have my hubby take a home made soup, or dish out of the freezer, and it takes a lot of stress off of him.

Be well, and good health to all of you!
Jane
