How much does CA125 rise in endometrios diagnosis?

I removed an atypical cyst with thick capsule wall
in ovary and doctors gave it diagnos endometrios,
but patholoc. diagnos of endometrios was not made. This cyst/tumor was disrupted during surgery and fluid leaked into te abdomen.
CA125 continued rising after this right ovary was
removed. CA125 went up from 60 to 149 until
total hysterectomy waqs done. Is it normal for   ca125 to rise that much?
Shoud not the CA125 go down when one ovary is removed?
This 5 cm cyst had many inclusioncysts inside. No immunohistology
was made. How can i be sure that this was a begign tumor? All of the cystfluid was lost, no cytology.       Annikamolander

If possible if you're concerned you should ask for a second opinion on the pathology.  They should still have samples available to be sent away.  Ask for a specialist in gynological pathology to do this second opinion.  That should give you some peace of mind.  I would also ask for a copy of the surgical report and a copy of the first pathology, to better understand.

Your CA125 co uld change with or without ovaries.   Your CA125 could be off because of an infection.  A CA125 does not diagnosis ovarian cancer, it is a better tool to monitor for re-currence in someone that has already been diagnosed.

If the cyst was fluid filled only, then chances are it was benign.

The only way to know for certain is through a biopsy.
