How to beat chemo brain

It says that sexual intercourse increases the body's levels of the hormone oxytocin, which induces a readiness to think of novel solutions, while the post-coital rise in serotonin levels also helps both creative thinking and logic.

In terms of food, the book suggests that the hidden ingredients of dark chocolate - such as magnesium and antioxidants - help get more oxygen to the brain.

It also recommends eating cold meat for breakfast to increase the body's energy levels and nutrient intake.

So all you have to do is have more sex, eat dark chcolate and eat cold meat for breakfast.  If we hear of any of you saying your chemo brain is getting better, then we can say "We know what you been doing"   lol  I wonder if it would work for alziemers?   lol  I love dark chocolate  but the sex  is long forgotten and  cold meat???   I likes my oatmeal.  Hope I made some of you smile.

That was incredibly cute!  I like leftover cold chicken or pork chops, chocolate and I just got married so ya know...
Years ago I heard that the top 3 ways to loose weight, were sex, downhill skiing, and dancing so they said you would burn a lot of calories if you danced down the slope while having sex.  I still can't get that picture out of my head!  Thanks for the chuckle.

Oh, Marty, you did make me smile!  I, too, love dark chocolate, I can deep 6 the cold meat at the start of the day, and I will definitely not tell my husband about the sex part......he thinks that's the cure for eveything and he sure doesn't need any re-enforcement on that......lol  I think I'll nurse this chemo brain excuse a bit longer! Thanks for starting my day with a chuckle Judie :)
