Thank you for everything all of you are my rocks!!! Jan, you are defintely an angel from above!!! Your wisdom and concern are amazing!!! Love, Gia
That is nice that he is home and having had a full cardio workup should relieve some concerns. The low salt thing is really simple if you remember not to buy anything that comes in a box or a can. LOL The outer aisles at the grocery store have the healthiest foods and the inner aisles the worst. I have an herb garden, but I have never found them to be a replacement for my saltaholic taste buds. Below is a link to a page that tells you about different kinds of salts. I order mine from here, but you can shop around to find what suits you. The one I use is twice as "salty" tasting, but has only 1/4 the amt of sodium chloride that table salt has. Plus with these less refined, no additive salts you retain an amazing array of trace minerals. These are not like the low sodium salts you get at the grocery store. Those are awful. Completely refined with numerous additives and they taste "weak". Most people won't stick to using them or they accept "bland" food.

I hope you are taking care of yourself with all of this going on. Maybe you'll both get some rest while he is having his sleep study. : -)
Good luck to you both and I will, as always, keep you in my prayers.
Jan
Great news! I am glad he is okay. I hope he is better at doing the low sodium thing than I am!! Take care, Marie
So happy to hear he's home again. I'm sure he's thrilled to be home too. Low salt diet means more than putting away the salt shaker. Avoid packaged foods as much as possible. Look at the labels. Many prepared foods will have 800-900 mg sodium per serving. That's outrageous. Did the doctor recommend a daily limit (1500mg)? Even natural foods can contain some sodium. The key is sodium not just NaCl - table salt.
A sleep study is strange but important for his heart health. Hope he gets good news.
Take care you two.
I am happy to hear he is back home. That must be a relief to both of you! Hope he continues to improve,
Colleen

So glad to hear that your husband is home safe and sound.
