Hysterectomy after 6 courses of taxol

My wife has stage 4 ovarian cancer. She was too sick to have the ovaries removed before chemo. Her CA125 marker before chemo was 1801. She has just finished her 6 courses of taxol. We have not had the ca125 marker level after the 6th treatment but the ca125 level after 5 treatments dropped to 28.

Her doctor wants to do a full hysterectomy now.

How long should she wait after the initial 6 courses of chemo before the operation and will she need chemo after the operation?

Also if the cancer is to recur where is it likely to recur?
