I have all the symptoms

I have all the symptoms

I am 33 years old.  In the past 3-4 years I have been experiencing consistent ovarian cysts.  They are primariliy on my right side and usually resolve themselves, but have proven to be very painful.  I currently have a large cyst on my right ovary.  In January of this year I was diagnosed with a hemorraghic cyst.  I went back in April for a follow up transvaginal ultrasound and was advised that it looked like it was starting to show signs of possibly resolving itself.  In the meantime, this cyst has caused completely different symptoms than what I have ever experienced. Over the last 2 weeks the pain in my right side has gotton worse.  It actually has moved to the uterine area.  I have a general feeling of being ill all the time.  I have constant nausea and the smell of anything just make me want to throw up.  Granted, I have not thrown up.  I am very fatigued, have alot of pressure in my abdomen and my bowel movements have now changed.  I usually have a bowel movement once a day, rarely every other day.  I am now going 3-4 times a day.  I have noticed that I have more gas lately as well.  I am overweight and have had 1/2 of my thyroid removed 2 years ago.  Other than that, I have been healthy.  My question to you is this....  Can this cyst turn into cancer?  I am assuming they can change.  I am concerned with being misdiagnosed.  I had a great OBGYN and she moved.  I am now seeing a new doctor and I don't have a lot of confidence in her.  I think she is still a little too green.  What should I do?  How can I find out if this is cancer and how do I find a qualified doctor?

Thank you for your response.

I just had another trans vaginal ultrasound and it showed another large corpus luteum cyst on my right ovary. My question to you is this...I am having constant corpus luteum cysts develop on my right ovary about every other month.  It is very painful and I am tired of feeling sick all the time.  If you have constant corpus luteum cysts developing, can this be a sign of something wrong with that ovary, like cancer?  My doctor did a CA-125 test and I do not have the results back yet.  I know that the test is not all that reliable, but can you suggest any other tests that I can do to rule out ovarian cancer?  I am almost tempted to just have surgery to remove that ovary.  Could use some advice.

Thanks!

I read the other post and I have the same concerns.  My CA 125 came back normal, so I think the inference is that it's not a chocolate cyst because endometriosis causes a rise in the CA125 levels?  Anyway, mine is about 4 cm I think, I'm not sure if it's inches or cm.  I was having terribly painful periods.  But, since I'm allergic to Motrin, I was taking either Tylenol or aspirin, both of which I think made me bleed heavier and worsened my symptoms.  I stopped both, & the last period was better.  The Dr wants to remove the cyst, which I think is hemorraghic.  My question is will it continue to grow, so get over the inevitable now before it gets bigger- and is there a risk it can be cancerous- and,if I do have the laproscopy, can it grow back so I'm better off removing that ovary as well (not interested in having children) Thanks
