I made it home and i am ok.....

Question

I cant stay on to long because of dizzispells and nausia and sitting in this chair is killing me,but i wanted to let yall know that i was ok...The surgeon said when she got in there it was like a big ball taped together..That the scar tissue had everything stuck together,bowels and all.and micki vicki you were right they were endemetriomas.The one on the right was 8.8cm and the left was 4.0.My surgery was only supposed to be one and a half hours and it took four hours,she said that was because they had to disconnect everything...then remove the scar tissue and then everything else...I almost didnt get to come home today because of fever and now i am staying nausiated and lightheaded and the doctor said that if it continues they are going to have to put me back in the hospital..But all in all God brought me through the surgery and there is no cancer so i am thankful...I love you girls so much and appreciate you being there for me and soniek keep your head held high cause it is gonna be alright..I will post back later .hugggggggggsssssss louella......

hey there lou..i know its late,but i just seen your second post..i hope your doing ok,and i hope your fever has broke ..please please take it easy,and if it goes back up again,make sure you call your doc right away....ill be thinking of you,and ill keep you in my thought and prayers..i love ya girlie...sonie

Ok i am still here but not doing to well ..I ran fever all night ,it got all the way up to 102.9 and then i finally got it to break and it has been off and on so the doctor said that if it goes back up tonight i have to go in,because it might be infection , so i dont know,and the hotflashes are already kicking in...But i am ok and thanks for everyones posts ...i love yall.lou

Thanks for the smile and light heart your post delivered to me!
Such good news is what gives us all hope and relief from fear.  The recovery from surgery might be tough at times, but, that pain can be gladly endured because the pain and anguish from "not knowing" is much worse.

hey there micki..it is still the 26..i feel the butterflies now just thinking about it...i cant imagine how bad it will be the day of..i hop to god they give me something to calm me before they take me into surgery....imma have my mom come in and post a update after and let everyone know how im doing......sonie

oh girlie  i am so so glad you are home and you dont have cancer!!!!!!!!once your all healed up,we'll do a dance together..lol...on a serious note,u make sure you get tons of rest,the more you drink,the better your bowels work,and short walks speed alone the recovery process,but only tiny ones,you dont want to over do it...ok..now times up,get back to bed!!i love ya girl..please please keep a eye on our fever..if it gets past 100,id go back in..rather be safe than sorry,and i need you hear so you can hear me whine and cry when i come home:P:P...ok..for real back to bed..lol love you dear...sonie

Hey, Louella, take it easy. Watch that fever; if it goes up then go back to the hospital!  By the way, the nausea and dizziness might be due in part to the pain medication.    Those meds do that to me, too, and it gets even worse if they try to give me medication for the nausea.  It's always something....

You have had a major surgery and have lots of healing to do, so PLEASE pamper yourself and take it easy! (I usually push things too hard after surgery, so don't be like me!)
