I need help

My mother has been having pain in her ovaries or the fallipion tubes for at least 2-3 years. She has been going to a specialist for obstetrics and gynecology. She has had recurrent premenstrual pain for 2 years already. She has had a diagnostic laparoscopy done but the results have been unknown. Can you please tell what Dyspareunia is? The doctor told to take birth control pills that are really strong for body. Is this ovarian cancer and what are the synptoms and what can you do to prevent it?

Dyspareunia is a term for pain felt during sexual intercourse.

She is already being seen by an ob/gyn specialist?  And has already had laparascopic exploratory surgery?  In my opinion, it seems that ovca would have been dicovered by now.  Has she sought another doctor for another opinion?  A woman's endocrine system is a "total package" and it could very well be that she has other diseases that are affecting her reproductive system.  It could also be that her problem is gastro-intestinal and not actually in her ovaries.

Is your mother suffering from extreme stress, family problems, work problems, or is she in an unhappy relationship?  If the specialist cannot find a physical reason for her symptoms, then it might be that her symptoms are being caused by mental and emotional suffering.  Stress, worry, anxiety and fear can cause physical problems as well.
