I need to know about ovaian complex cyst

I hope somebody can help me understand a little more about a complex cyst on my left ovary.  My cyst is about 4cm by 7cm, my question is what is the difference between a complex cyst and a normal cyst?  I did have the CA-125 blood test and was told that it came back normal, so I didn't worry much until I started reading info on the net that said it wasn't very reliable in diagnosis of ovarian cancer.  My symptoms include but are not limited to, unexplained weight loss, abnormal bleeding, lower back pain that radiates from my ovaries (mostly my right ovary which has smaller cyst than my left and are not complex)the odd thing is that I have no pain in my left ovary with the complex cyst.  My doctor said to go have it taken care of now, but I keep thinking that right now I can stand the discomfort I have if I have surgery will I end up in more pain.
After all I've been telling them for years that my ovaryies werer giving me problems and nobody even bothered to check it out.  How can I trust them in taking it out.  Please respond, sometimes the people who have been through it know more than the doctors that treat them.  Scared and confused is not the way I want to stay. Thanks

I went back to check my paper work from my ultrasound and my ct scan my question now is, is there a difference between a complex cyst and complex mass on the ovaries, or does it just depend on who is giving the results and how they phrase it.
Thanks for your help!
