I need your thoughts

Hi all!
I would appreciate if  you could help me to clear my head. I'm very worried!!
I've been dealing with gyne problems since May 08 after I had my daughter. I started bleeding very heavily, so after wasting lots of time with my GP, I was refered to a consultant last September. He advised to do a hysteroscopy and put a mirena coil to stop the bleeding. The coil didn't work so after 2 months it was removed. I've been having pain in my lower back and pelvic area for a long time. It's like period pains but everyday in some degree, with lower back pain, feeling extremely bloated, urinating very often, headaches, constant tiredness... Anyway, I feel awful.
I went to see the consultant 10 days ago and he asked me to keep a log of eything for 3 months and then come back, but last Friday I got a letter from him saying that he had checked some scans that the GP ordered in November and there were several cysts in both ovaries. He asked me to go last Monday to hospital to have blood tests done for CA 125, CEA, CA 159-9 AND CA 15-3, so I went.
I'm absolutely terrified of the outcome because I haven't been feeling well for quite sometime.
What do you think of all this?
Am I being paranoid for worrying?
Thanks a lot for reading all this.

Monica

Hi Monica.  Marty is right, the symptoms could very well be from the cysts.  Just remember that ovarian cancer is rare, especially in younger women.

The odds are definitely in your favor.

Cysts can cause all the symptoms you have mentioned, however it is good your doctor ordered these tests because if it is some thing more serious, you have the time right now to take care of it.  You need to ask  how large the cysts are and how they appear, good luck  marty
