Immunotherapy+Chemotherapy?

Is anyone aware of an immunotherapy that could be considered in conjunction with chemotherapy for my friend who has ovarian cancer (stage 1c, clear cell) which has now recurred.  She is receiving Carbo+Gemzar as a chemo agent (she's in the middle of her 2nd cycle), but she really wants to add an immunological approach to her strategy.  I have seen some articles that suggest there are (suprisingly) ways of combining chemo and immunotherapy.  Any suggestions?

I too am a friend of an ovca survivor and am very tuned into this terrible disease - for her first round of chemo my friend rec'd carbo/taxol (2 years ago).  After a second debulking in Jan 2007, she rec'd carbo/gemzar which was only effective during her regimen. Once she stopped taking it, her ca125 started rising again. Dr then put her on Etopiside-didn't work; and yesterday she had her first dose of doxil (it's being used with avastin). Doxil is unique in that the drug is encapsulated in a 'fatty' substance so that it sort of hides from the immune system so it can work more effectively on the tumor that's reaking havoc. Is she able to utilize drug assay companies to test the tumor for drug resistance or sensitivity? Check out these 2 companies - oncotech (CA) and precision therapuetics (Pittsburgh).
