Increased bleeding

I've bled for 34 days and recieved an ultra sound. The findings were: the endometrial strip is thin with a small amount of endometrial fluid that is consistant with the continued uterine bleeding. There was also free fluid present in the cul de sac of uncertain etiology.  The left ovary is somewhat slightly heterogeneous but there is no solid mass or cyst. I don't know what a heterogeneous ovary means or what the free fluid in the cul de sac means.

I'm in college right now so my gyn didn't do the ultra sound and the hospital that i went to did not even contact me to tell me that the results were in so when i finally went back they just handed them to me through a window. I'm not sure what is going on. I had stoppe dbleeding after 34 days and now it started up again today

You could go to the "Ask A Doctor Forum"......some of the stuff on the internet can scare you to death and not be very accurate information so take it with a grain of salt.  When will you see your doctor again......it is always a good idea to write down your questions and take them with you to your appointments as it is so easy to forget them when you are face to face.  I am curious... what did your gyn tell you the ultrasound results indicated?
Peace.
