I know I should know this, but I'm just drawing a blank. What does the below mean? I took it from the first article you provided. And thank you for posting both of them.

Sixty three of the patients has 63% of their disease removed???  Best I can come up with .. :-)

Optional debulking refers to removing all visible cancer to <1 cm.  When having initial surgery for ovarian cancer, the surgeon strives to achieve this while also removing the uterus,fallopian tubes, cervix, and ovaries as well.  If this is achieved, estimated prognosis and survival time will be better than if larger residual 'spots' of cancer are left in the abdomen.
