Irregular Menstration

In a previous post, the Doctor listed one of the reasons for having an irregular cycle as including:  "a bleeding disorder either from taking an anticoagulant like warfarin. . ."

I am curious about what the expert meant by "bleeding disorder,"  I wasn't aware anticoagulants cause them, I thought they just help treat them.

I just finished a year-long treatment on Warfarin, have always had a regular cycle.  But I haven't had a cycle since stopping the Warfarin  (it's been a few months and I know I am not pregnant).  I'm in my late 20s and have never had any problems conceiving until now.  My doctor mentioned hyperthyroid or polycystic ovary syndrome- neither fit me well.  And it is just too ironic that I haven't had a cycle since finishing warfarin.
