I am 50 yrs ofd and I been having severe pain on my abdominal left side. I had a ultrasound performed on 3/10/03.
findings: The uterus measures 8.4x4.2x5.1cm the endometrial stripe measures 19.0 mm
do this measurements sound normalNormal saline flush? The doctor told me that the uterus is too big and is causing the pain. The doctor recommended to remove the uterus.
The rt ovary measures 2.6x1.9x1.9cm. The lt ovary measures 2.6x1.5x1.6cm. There is a tiny amount of free pelvicKegel exercises Pelvic adhesions Pelvic inflammatory disease (pid) Pelvic laparoscopy Prostatitis - nonbacterial Uterine prolapse fluid identified. there is also a small nabothian cyst. the doctor said that the cyst will disapear by its own.
I would like to know if by removing the uterus the pain will go away? Do you recommed removing the uterus?
