Is this 'catching it early'? ( cancer is too small/early to be detected by anything other than surgery)......

is that a 'good' thing??? I made the decision to go through with the lap even though my CT scan, TVUS, and CA-125 (which was 32) were all o.k.    I have these nagging symptoms that won't go away and feel like the only way to completely relieve my mind is to go through with the lap.  It's possible that another problem is found, which would be great.     IF OC is there, does that mean that I've 'caught it early' if it was so small that it couldn't be detected other than by surgery?  Has ANYONE only had their OC detected by surgery and not through the other means of testing?

Early is always better. The chance that it has spread is so much less. For stage 1, the survival rate for 5 years is 60-100%, for stage 4, the survival rate for 5 years is 10-25%. So, yes, the earlier, the better.
