Joanne is another angel

Please see my post under Howard's post "prayers for Joanne", sadly she passed away a few hours ago. She was such a special lady and will be so terribly missed, but she's at peace and no longer in pain or suffering. My heart aches for the family she loved so much. {{{loving hugs to you Joanne}}} our dear angel.

Cindy and I are very sad.  We will miss Joanne very much.  She has become a part of Cindy's life and now she's gone.  Her last post was January 12, 2009.  How could this be possible?  She was helping others only 8 days ago here.  From what I can remember she posted right before she went into the hospital at the ovca forum.  She always gave such love and kindness to others.    Karen, you and your lovely family have our deepest sympathy.  To the ladies here, please visit her profile.  She loved her little dogs.  I can't believe she's gone.  Howard

The thing that sticks out in my head so much about Joanne is how completely kind she was.  I remember she was afraid she had offended someone with one of her posts, and she created a whole new thread just to apologize (and she didn't even have anything to apologize for)!  My deepest sympathy goes out to her family and friends.  I agree with Dian.  I believe she's found a new place where she's moved past the pain, and no longer has to deal with the unpleasantries of what this cancer does to a body.  Rest in peace, Joanne.

She was always right there with upbeat replies to posts. She was so genuine and so sincere that she never sounded like she was just saying the thing she was supposed to say.  She was really very sweet and she will be missed by many.  I wish I had something comforting to say to those that loved her, but there just really isn't anything that helps this kind of grief and loss, except time.

  My only comfort in Joannes passing is that she is longer having to fight this demon and may now be peaceful and pain free.
  Joanne was the first cyber friend that I ever made. She was a beautiful and warm, caring person who will be missed by many. I know that she is now watching over all of us and taking care of the sisters be have lost before.
   When darkness falls tonight, look to the heavens. The brightest star that you see in the sky will be Joanne, letting us know that she is still taking care of us, but in a much better place.
