Large Cyst ?????

An update from my previous questions,  I went and had a CT scan this morning then the Gyn this afternoon.  But, I'm still non the wiser as the Radiologist Consultant was not there to send up report so Gyn said I have to wait two weeks for results.

I did find out that my right ovary has a cyst that is 10cm and that I will need ovary removed but, he did not want to elaborate until he gets ct scan results.

I'm still bloated and getting a pain left side now he said its probably the pressure from right side.

It's terrible the waiting, he dosen't think its cancer, then I told him about my Mother & her Sister.

Then he said wait for results, am I panicing or being impatient?

Actually, I can't believe you have to wait two weeks for the results of any test, especially in this day and age.  My doctor gets CT Scan results back in 2-3 days, sometimes faster.  The scans are interrupted and faxed to his office, then his office faxes me a copy of the results.  I'd be on the phone pestering his offic every day until I got the results.
