Low Dose Doxil treatment

Dear Doctor:

This is an update on my low dose Doxil treatment.
As I have posted in the past M.D. Anderson suggested low Dose Doxil for me every six weeks.
I just had my latest ca 125 results and it went up from 475 to 884.  I will find out next week what my Doctor will suggest, and wanted to get your opinion.
I was without any chemo for 2 months before this low dose.  I am wonder if the Doxil hasn't kicked in yet.  When I went to M.D. Anderson I hadn't had chemo for 5 weeks and my ca 125 went from 731 to 383.  Do you think the Doxil hasn't had enough time?
I really hope this is the case, because I have felt so good with dose and minimal side effects.  I am really disappointed and was hoping this would work because of how good I have been feeling, but would like to know your opinion about continuing.  I don't want to continue if the doxil is not working, and get into trouble.  I have also been wondering what you think about Avemar and have been wanting to ask you about it for quite some time.

Please read my previous post which has all my Doxil Cycles.
I have only had one low dose Doxil.  I was thinking that maybe I should take low dose Doxil more often or Higher Dose every six weeks.

Dear Plady, can you please remind me how many cycles of doxil you have had? Doxil is a slow mover. It takes 3 to 4 cycles before one would see a drop in the CA 125.
